What permissions are needed to use a celebrity photograph?

Every picture on a website or on google is copyrighted by the photographer. You would have to ask their permission if you wanted to use it. It is different if the picture has "creative commons" underneath the photo, which means anyone can use the photo for free, that is why people use pictures on Flickr. If a company want to use a photo of a model/celebrity they would have to pay the model/celebrity or the model/celebrity agent. If a company wanted to use a celebrity for a commercial advert then they would have to ask permission because the celebrity may not want to be involved in commercials.

Magazine Mood Board



Magazines use the colours pink and black. Most of the magazines have a main famous person on the cover looking at the camera, to show that they are drawing your attention to buy the magazine. Another colour used is a bright yellow to attract attention, they use this colour for pugs, headings or subtitles.
